Morondava is located in the west of Madagascar and it takes between 5 and 7 days to reach Tulear, depending on your budgets and the duration of your stay. A 4x4 vehicle is a must for this itinerary.

The trip includes a stop in ‘Belo sur Mer’, a small town that makes ‘boutres’ (Arab sailing dhows). It is also worth staying for a while on the picturesque beaches of Andavadoaka and Salary. Another stop in Ifaty before arriving in Tulear.
